- Other Details: The facility which is trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 8-10 patients per shift. A full-time Interventional Radiologist is needed for 2184 hours annually, equating to 182 twelve-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM). The provider will perform including fine needle aspiration, bone marrow biopsy and aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, core needle biopsy of the lung and mediastinum, liver biopsy, introduction of catheter for dialysis, flow cytometry, insertion of tunneled central venous access device with subcutaneous port placement, and interventional radiology injections.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform 8-10 procedures per day, ensuring high-quality patient care and procedural accuracy.
- Conduct a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including fine needle aspiration, bone marrow biopsy and aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, core needle biopsy (lung/mediastinum), liver biopsy, dialysis catheter insertion, flow cytometry, tunneled central venous access with subcutaneous port placement, and IR injections.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatments.
Qualifications
- Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
Working Hours
- 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM).
- Coverage for 2,184 total hours per year.
Skills
- Strong procedural skills with the ability to manage 8-10 cases per day efficiently.
- Ability to interpret imaging studies and coordinate with referring physicians for patient care.
- Experience working in high-volume hospital or clinical settings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with radiology staff and other medical professionals.
