Position Summary:
CAMC is actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic and collaborative radiology team. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility serving a diverse patient population with a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

About CAMC:

Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) was established in 1972 and is a nonprofit, 1,138-bed regional tertiary referral center made up of seven hospitals: General Hospital, Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Memorial Hospital, Plateau Medical Center, Teays Valley Hospital, Women and Children’s Hospital, and Charleston Surgical Hospital. In addition to the hospitals, CAMC is comprised of the Institute for Academic Medicine and the CAMC Foundation. More than 1,500 providers are members of the medical staff of CAMC, which is also West Virginia's premiere medical teaching facility, hosting, on any given day, more than 1,000 students in programs leading to degrees or certifications in health professions.



Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a broad spectrum of interventional procedures including but not limited to biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization’s, and ablations.
Participate in both inpatient and outpatient care, including clinic consultations and follow-up.
Interpret diagnostic imaging studies in support of interventional cases.
Collaborate closely with referring physicians and clinical teams across multiple specialties.
Participate in quality improvement, clinical research, and teaching (if applicable).
Share in equitable call coverage rotation.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Radiology.
Eligible for medical licensure in [State].
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
