Interventional Radiology Locum Position in Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: July 21, 2025- Ongoing

Schedule/Availability Requirements: ***Consecutive coverage week at a time. ***

Weekend Requirements:

• 24 hour call

On Call Requirements:

• Night call and weekend

Shift(s) Description: Consecutive 7 day coverage week stretch. M-F 8a-5p + 5p-8a; Sat/Sun 24hr coverage

3. 8/11/25 (8am) - 8/18/25 (8am)
4. 8/25/25 (8am) - 9/1/25 (8am)
5. 9/8/25 (8am) - 9/15/25 (8am)
6. 9/22/25 (8am) - 9/29/25 (8am)
7. 10/20/25 (8am) - 10/27/25 (8am)
8. 11/3/25 (8am) - 11/10/25 (8am)
9. 11/24/25 (8am) - 12/1/25 (8am)
10. 12/22/25 (8am) - 12/29/25 (8am)

1. Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiology - Required
2. Intervention Radiology Fellowship - Required
3. Active AZ license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) - Required
4. Will consider Diagnostic Radiology with Completion of IR Fellowship: Required
5. Active ACLS/AZ DEA - Required
6. Clean Malpractice – Preferred

Position Details:

• Duties: Call responsibilities to include consults and procedures
• Required Procedures: Procedures are pretty broad but anything from venous access/biopsies to TIPS, trauma, DVT/PE work - NO neuro IR
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: 3 IR MD , two APP. US and CT procedure rooms as well as two angio suites. Average day is two MD and one or both APP
• Reason for Coverage: Actively recruiting to fill roles in growing team
• Average procedures/day:10-15
• Only diagnostic is arterial ultrasound studies but there is some flexibility here
• 100% Interventional
