Duties

  • Hospital Coverage: Includes IR needs, Stroke CTs, and other procedures.
  • Required Procedures:
    • IR Procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal Abscess Drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters
    • Biopsies: CT/US-guided (Thyroid, Lung, Other)
    • Other: Barium Studies, Lumbar Punctures
  • Daily Workload:
    • Total: ~50 studies/day + 5-8 procedures/day
    • Breakdown:
      • CTs: 15-20
      • X-Rays: 15-20
      • Ultrasounds: 10
      • MRIs: 5
      • IR: 5-8 procedures

Rates

  • Hourly: $400
  • Nightly Call: $800 (Includes 2.5 gratis hours)
  • Call Back: $400/hour (After gratis hours)

Requirements

  • Required:
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible
    • Active California License
    • Residency Completion
    • BLS and DEA during credentialing
    • CA Fluoroscopy License at submission
  • Preferred:
    • Clean malpractice history
    • Availability at time of name clear
