VeloSource has an Interventional Radiology Opportunity in Bismarck, ND.
- Shift Type: Days
- Shift Description: The coverage is an 8 hour day, generally anywhere between 8a-4p with evening call 4p-8a, and 24 hour call on the weekends.
- Summary: IR general (stroke capabilities are preferred but not required).
- Required Procedures: Current list of procedures that our IR team performs:
- • Diagnostic vascular intervention
- · Angiography – venous and arterial
- • Therapeutic vascular intervention
- · Angioplasty – venous and arterial
- · Stenting (venous and arterial)
- · Thrombolytic therapy
- · Emobolization therapy
- • Interventional (body, non-neuro)
- • Vascular access devices/PICCS
- • Central lines
- • Port a cath insertions
- • IVC Filters
- • TIPS
- • Aspiration/drainage procedures
- • Percutaneous Needle Biopsies (Above & Below diaphragm, and Bone)
- • Extractions (Biliary & Renal)
- • Abscess drainage
- • Thoracentesis
- • Paracentesis
- • Myelopgraphy
- • Pain management procedures
- • Perc. Transhepatic Choleangiogram
- • Blood patch
- • Joint/epidural injections
- • Vertebroplasty
- • Arthrograms
- • Chest tube insertion
- • Uterine artery embolization
- • Liver Y90/Tace
- • Gastrostomy tube insertion
- • Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion
- • Renal fistulograms,
- • Cryoablation
- Board Certified - REQUIRED
- State License – ND License is preferred - IMLC is okay.
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship - REQUIRED
- ACLS - REQUIRED
