We are looking for an experienced and skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our healthcare team. We are looking for an experienced and skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing minimally invasive procedures with advanced imaging techniques. Schedule:
- In-House with Call
- Two weeks on / two weeks off
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with call from 5 PM - 8 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, biopsies, drainages, and tumor ablations.
- Utilize imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI for precise procedure guidance.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists to create personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients about procedures, address concerns, and ensure proper informed consent.
- Document patient information accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Mentor and train residents and junior staff in interventional techniques and best practices.
- Contribute to quality assurance and process improvement initiatives within the department.
- Stay current with advancements and new techniques in interventional radiology through continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiology with a fellowship in Interventional Radiology
- Extensive clinical experience and proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
