Position Overview:
A premier radiology group in Alaska is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a Locums-to-Perm opportunity, though a permanent candidate is preferred. This is a highly lucrative position with an expedited partnership track and the chance to grow within a thriving practice.
π Position Details:
β Case Mix: Bread-and-butter community IR with interventional oncology as a major focus
β Opportunity to develop our own OBL (Office-Based Lab)
β Primary IR Shift: Primarily IR work with very light DR
β Secondary IR Shift: Hybrid role of IR + DR with mammography at a community hospital
β Call Schedule: Q3 to Q4 call covering one Level 2 trauma center + two non-trauma hospitals
β Light call back β Excellent ancillary staff triages overnight cases, minimizing disruptions
β No diagnostic call
π° Compensation & Benefits:
π° $715K total cash compensation Year 1
π΄ 12 weeks vacation
π 1 to 1.5-year partnership track (based on experience)
πΌ Partner income: Top 1% nationally, consistently earning $1M+ after full buy-in
