Job Description
Hospital is seeking a LOCUM interventional radiologist to join their Hospital team for coverage January and February 2025!

Coverage needed until their perm provider starts

Hospital-based practice setting
-
Schedule: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., call coverage for entire week if working that week
-
Average of 8-11 cases daily, with high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies

Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000
-
EMR: EPIC; teleradiology via Radia on Philips ISite platform
-
Team: 2 interventional radiologists locally, 25+ system-wide; standard hospital IR support staff

Patient population: Adults (includes geriatric and adolescent patients)

Board Certification required: AOBR or ABR
-
Fellowship training required in Interventional Radiology (IR)

Required procedures: Angiography, CT, Ultrasound

Required interventional procedures: Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty

Credentialing timeframe:60-120 days
Submission Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Radiology - REQUIRED

Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology - highly preferred

Active WA License - REQUIRED

ACLS - REQUIRED

Clean background- Required for quick credentialing
