Job Responsibilities

The Interventional Radiologist has primary responsibility for procedures to include, but not limited to:
Pre and post procedure preparation
Image-guided procedures
TACE
TARE – Y90
Microwave ablations
Renal cryoablations
Suprapubic catheter placement
IVC placement
Peripheral stenting
Coordination with patient’s care team within IR, other medical center staff, and occasionally with providers outside the medical center
Oversight of quality and safety
Image Interpretation and Consultation
Patient care
