Job Title: Interventional Radiologist (Physician)
Facility: Terre Haute, Indiana
Schedule: Flexible Schedule (14 on, 14 off with call after 5:00 PM)
On-Call: Yes, 14 days of evening/overnight call per month
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
Rate: $2250 per shift, additional $150/hr for call after 5 hours
Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days
Volume Expectation: 40 RVUs per shift (including IR procedures)
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for urgent onsite coverage, with potential for long-term locum opportunities. The role involves performing a diverse caseload of interventional radiology procedures and diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interventional Radiology Procedures (80%):
- Y90 radioembolization
- Renal, hepatic, lung, and bone ablation
- Pulmonary thrombectomy and DVT thrombectomy
- Varicocele embolization and pelvic congestion syndrome embolization
- Portal vein interventions (TIPS, BRTO, portal vein stenting)
- Diagnostic Radiology (20%): General radiology interpretations
- IR RPA (Radiology Physician Assistant) Support: Light IR procedures
- Call Requirements:
- 14 days of evening/overnight call per month
- Additional compensation for on-call hours after 5 hours of call
- Technology Used: Powerscribe 4.0
Requirements:
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
- Comfortable with full spectrum of vascular and non-vascular interventions
