Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 months
Shift Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Call Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- 24-hour call on Saturdays and Sundays
- Call Ratio: If working a week, likely to take call for the entire week.
Job Overview:
- Hospital Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000.
- EMR: EPIC
- Teleradiology: Philips ISite platform via Radia
- Team:
- 2 interventional radiologists locally
- 25+ system-wide
- Standard hospital IR support staff
- Patient Population: Primarily adults (including geriatric and adolescent patients).
- Average Daily Volume: 8-11 cases daily, with a high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies.
Required Skills & Procedures:
- Procedures:
- Angiography
- CT and Ultrasound-guided procedures
- Angioplasty, stent placement
- Chemoembolization, embolization
- Aortic aneurysm endograft stent
- Needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certification: AOBR or ABR (American Board of Radiology) required
- Fellowship Training: Fellowship in Interventional Radiology is highly preferred
- Active License: Must hold an active Washington (WA) state license
- ACLS Certification: Required
Additional Information:
- Call Coverage: Will be responsible for call coverage if scheduled for the week, including weekends.
- Credentialing: Estimated timeframe for credentialing is approximately 3-4 months.
- IR Team: Supported by a team of 2 local IRs and a broader network of 25+ system-wide specialists.
