Opportunity:
- Seeking a LOCUM interventional radiologist to join their Providence St. Peter Hospital team for coverage January and February 2025!
- Coverage needed until their perm provider starts
- Hospital-based practice setting
- Schedule: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., call coverage for entire week if working that week
- Average of 8-11 cases daily, with high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
- Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000
- EMR: EPIC; teleradiology via Radia on Philips ISite platform
- Team: 2 interventional radiologists locally, 25+ system-wide; standard hospital IR support staff
- Patient population: Adults (includes geriatric and adolescent patients)
- Board Certification required: AOBR or ABR
- Fellowship training required in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Required procedures: Angiography, CT, Ultrasound
- Required interventional procedures: Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty
- Credentialing timeframe:60-120 days
