Opportunity:
  • Seeking a Locum/Locum to Perm interventional radiologist to join their team ASAP!
  • Coverage needed due to physician retirement
  • Hospital-based practice setting
  • Schedule: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., call coverage for entire week if working that week
  • Average of 8-11 cases daily, with high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
  • Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000
  • EMR: EPIC; teleradiology via Radia on Philips ISite platform
  • Team: 2 interventional radiologists locally, 25+ system-wide; standard hospital IR support staff
  • Patient population: Adults (includes geriatric and adolescent patients)
  • Board Certification required: AOBR or ABR
  • Fellowship training required in Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Required procedures: Angiography, CT, Ultrasound
  • Required interventional procedures: Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty
  • Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 3-4 months
