Job Description: Interventional Radiology Locum Opportunity in Urbana, Illinois: $400 Hourly

We are seeking a talented Interventional Radiologist (MD or DO) for an exciting Full- Time locum opportunity in Illinois. If you are board certified or truly board eligible (within 5 years of residency), have a clean malpractice record and hold an active Illinois license, we want to hear from you!
Key Details:
- Location: Urbana, Illinois
- Schedule: 24 hour call Saturday and Sunday and Scheduled clinic hours, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Call Requirement: Night and 24 hour call
- Orientation: Onsite orientation required prior to first assignment (typically 8:30 AM – 5 PM), including physical, drug screening, immunization review, administrative paperwork, and EPIC training.

- Immediate coverage dates (Must be available to work these dates): December 23 - 31
- After dates above are covered this position is Full-Time Ongoing
Submission Requirements: *** Must meet ALL Submission Requirements in order to submit.***
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible ( Within 5 years of residency) in Interventional Radiology - REQUIRED
- Active Illinois License, CS and DEA - REQUIRED
- Must be available to work December 23 - 31 then, Ongoing Full Time - REQUIRED
- References: Minimum of two completed references - REQUIRED (See Recruiter)
- COVID Vaccine - REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clean Malpractice History - Due to Quick Credentialing Time

- Physicians: 5
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 3 (in credentialing)
- EMR: Epic
Patient Population Mix:
- 18+ - 65: 46%
- Geriatrics: 54%
- Pediatrics: Minimal (primarily for lines and tube changes)
- Medicare: 44%
- Medicaid: 18%
Average Cases Per Day:
- 11 Procedure Lab cases
- 8.0 Para/Thoras
- 7-8 CT/US Biopsies
Support Staff:
- Registered Nurses
- Radiology Technologists
- Advanced Practice Providers
Procedures Required:
The locum provider will perform full interventional radiology services, including but not limited to:
- Image-guided biopsies and drainages
- Dialysis access maintenance and line placement
- Hepatobiliary interventions
- DVT and PE management (CDT and thrombectomy)
- Diagnostic arteriography and arterial interventions (treatment of PAD, trauma, GI hemorrhage, oncology)
- Drain placements (including chest tubes)
- Gastrostomy and nephrostomy procedures
