Facility in Bismarck, ND seeking Extremely Lucrative IR locums coverage

Rates:
$5000 per 24 hours, includes 4 gratis hours
$500/hr Call back (per hour after gratis hours)
$200/hr Orientation (usually 3-6 hours)
1.5x regular rate for Holiday Rate

Job Details:

  • Position: Interventional Radiologist (IR) - General

  • Schedule:

    • Weekdays: 8 AM - 4 PM (Day Shift)

    • Evening Call: 4 PM - 8 AM

    • Weekends: 24-hour call

    • Call Back Frequency: Varies; emergencies only

    • On-site Procedures: 10-15 daily on average

  • Dates: November 8 (8 AM) - November 13 (8 AM)

Required Procedures:

  • Diagnostic Vascular Intervention:
    • Angiography (venous and arterial)
  • Therapeutic Vascular Intervention:
    • Angioplasty (venous and arterial)
    • Stenting (venous and arterial)
    • Thrombolytic therapy
    • Embolization therapy
  • Interventional Procedures (Body, Non-Neuro):
    • Vascular access devices/PICCs
    • Central lines
    • Port a cath insertions
    • IVC Filters
    • TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt)
  • Aspiration/Drainage Procedures:
    • Abscess drainage
    • Thoracentesis
    • Paracentesis
  • Percutaneous Needle Biopsies:
    • Biopsies above and below diaphragm
    • Bone biopsies
  • Extractions:
    • Biliary extractions
    • Renal extractions
  • Pain Management Procedures:
    • Joint injections
    • Epidural injections
    • Vertebroplasty
    • Blood patches
  • Other Interventional Procedures:
    • Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram
    • Myelography
    • Arthrograms
    • Chest tube insertion
    • Uterine artery embolization
    • Liver Y90/TACE (Transarterial Chemoembolization)
    • Gastrostomy tube insertion
    • Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion
    • Renal fistulograms
    • Cryoablation
  • Preferred but not required: Neuro (stroke thrombectomy)

Credentialing & Requirements:

  • Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

  • Board Certification: Required

  • State License: ND preferred (IMLC acceptable)

  • ACLS Certification: Required

  • Malpractice History: Clean preferred
