We are seeking a highly qualified Locums Interventional Radiology Physician to join our healthcare team in Waukegan, IL. This position involves a combination of interventional and general radiology responsibilities, providing comprehensive imaging and procedural services to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing light interventional procedures and handling routine imaging needs, contributing to high-quality patient care. As a Locums Interventional Radiology Physician, you will be responsible for performing non-complex interventional procedures, including but not limited to biopsies, drainages, and catheter placements. You will work on-site from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing care during regular hours and participating in weekend and on-call coverage as required. In addition to interventional radiology, you will handle general radiology duties, including interpreting X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs for routine and emergency department (ED) imaging needs.

Requirements:

· Must be Board Certified in Radiology with specialized training in Interventional Radiology.

· Active Illinois medical license is required.

· Active DEA registration is required.

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

· Experience in performing light interventional procedures and general radiology studies.

· Strong diagnostic and procedural skills with a focus on patient safety and care quality.
