A medical facility in Asheboro, NC, is seeking a temporary General Radiologist with light interventional responsibilities starting November 1st. This position focuses primarily on general radiology but includes non-complex interventional procedures. Note: This is not a 100% IR position, and there will be no IR call required. This position offers competitive pay at $380-400/ hr and reimbursement for travel/ lodging. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage is also covered in full.

Job Responsibilities

Light Interventional Procedures: Perform non-complex image-guided biopsies, drainages, PICC line placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
General Radiology: Manage routine imaging such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs.

EMR: Meditech
PACS: Intelerad
VR: Fluency

Qualifications

Board Certified Radiologist (Required)
BLS and ACLS Certification (Required)
Active North Carolina medical license and DEA (Required)
Clean professional files
Specialty/shift preferences must be noted at the time of name clearance.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8a-5p (For Mammography, Monday through Friday preferred; will also accept Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).

Skills

Experience with both general radiology and light interventional procedures.
Strong familiarity with Meditech, Intelerad, and Fluency systems.
