Interventional Radiology Locums Opportunity in Phoenix, AZ: $500 hourly

Night Call: $500.00
24hr call: $4000.00
CB: $450.0 hourly
Gratis: 4 hours

Description:

Interventional Radiology in Phoenix, AZ where Inpatient coverage and call is needed. Here are some of the details:

Start Date: October 7, 2024- Ongoing

Coverage/Schedule needed: Consecutive coverage week at a time.

  • Day shifts (8-5) on campus

Call Coverage:

  • Sometimes for vacation call may be more frequents, main need is 7 day coverage week stretch at a time
  • Call via phone overnight after 5pm for week
  • Weekends are home calls. Can expect to do some cases over the weekend.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: ***Must meet ALL Submission Requirements in order to submit!***

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
  • AZ license - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)-REQUIRED
  • Interventional Radiology Fellowship - REQUIRED
  • Certifications: ACLS/DEA - REQUIRED
  • CLEAN Malpractice Record PREFERRED
  • Procedures: Cerebral angiography, Mechanical thrombectomy (for stroke), Carotid artery, stenting, Intracranial embolization for ruptured aneurysms, dural AV fistula, and AVMs, Middle meningeal artery embolization, Extracranial embolization for epistaxis, H&N tumor hemorrhage, Lumbar punctures, including for intrathecal chemotherapy, Myelograms, Spine biopsies, including fuloroscopic and CT guided: REQUIRED( must be able to preform ALL listed procedures in order to submit)

Position Details:

  • Is this facility affiliated with Maricopa county? Is this another facility? Maricopa county I believe is the county in which Phoenix is part of.
  • Are they needing daytime office coverage as well or just call? Call is during the day and night
  • What is the night call expectation? Answer any calls coming in, if something is emergent may need to go in.
  • Will you consider board certified diagnostic radiology or will the provider be required to be boarded in IR? Need to have completed IR fellowship, if not board certified, OK.
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Support Staff: 3 IR MD , two APP. US and CT procedure rooms as well as two angio suites. Average day is two MD and one or both APP
