UPMC Northwest, located in Seneca, PA has a new part-time opportunity for a BE/BC Interventional Radiologist to join a well-established department comprised of a team of experienced radiologists supported by two radiology practitioner assistants. The ideal candidate for this position will be BC/BE and strong in cross sectional imaging. This position will be hospital employed and is available immediately.

Position Details

• This part time position will involve being onsite for two weeks per month (10 weekday) to conduct interventional procedures. Day time schedule, no traveling between sites.

• Interventional radiologist may also be asked to interpret imaging exams and participate in on-call duties on a part-time basis. Weekend on-call responsibilities will be managed remotely.

• Physician will perform minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT, or MRI. Procedures include, but are not limited to, fluoroscopy, myelogram, paracentesis, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsy, lumbar puncture, arthrograms.

• Opportunity to perform breast procedures with the appropriate certifications.

• Must be prepared to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, including vascular diseases, cancers, and chronic pain conditions.

•The candidate should enjoy patient interactions and share our commitment to deliver the highest quality of care in a friendly, professional manner.

•We provide mentorship and on-site training led by our experienced procedural radiologists.
