Interventional Radiology Locums Opportunity in -$450 hourly
Job Description:
Locums Interventional Radiology in Bismarck, ND where Outpatient coverage with call is needed. Here are some of the details:
Start Date: 2 weeks per month starting in July- Ongoing
Coverage Need/Schedule Details:
Shift times:
- Weekdays 8a-4p
- Nightly call 4p-8a
- 24 hour call on the weekends.
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified Radiology - REQUIRED
- Active ND license or IMLC - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Active ACLS - REQUIRED
- Must be able to experience and ability to read and/or perform all Required Procedures and note at Submission - REQUIRED
- Must note if/if not provider has stroke capabilities at submission - REQUIRED
- Residency/Fellowship - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice/Background - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must state availability (# of shifts per month) at submission - REQUIRED
- Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility - REQUIRED
- COVID VACCINATED - REQUIRED
Required Procedures:
- Current list of procedures that our IR team performs:
- Neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy
- Diagnostic vascular intervention
- Angiography – venous and arterial
- Therapeutic vascular intervention
- Angioplasty – venous and arterial
- Stenting (venous and arterial)
- Thrombolytic therapy
- Embolization therapy
- Interventional (body, non-neuro)
- Vascular access devices/PICCS
- Central lines
- Port a cath insertions
- IVC Filters
- TIPS
- Aspiration/drainage procedures
- Percutaneous Needle Biopsies (Above & Below diaphragm, and Bone)
- Extractions (Biliary & Renal)
- Abscess drainage
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
- Myelopgraphy
- Pain management procedures
- Perc. Transhepatic Choleangiogram
- Blood patch
- Joint/epidural injections
- Vertebroplasty
- Arthrograms
- Chest tube insertion
- Uterine artery embolization
- Liver Y90/Tace
- Gastrostomy tube insertion
- Nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion
- Renal fistulograms,
- Cryoablation
Preferred Procedures (but not required):
- Neuro (Head) stroke thrombectomy
- Stroke capabilities
Job Description:
- EMR: EPIC
- Will the provider need to be willing to read diagnostics in between IR cases? No.
- What is the average # of procedures done in the 8 hour on-site day shift? Varies from 10-15.
- Call back during the weekday and weekend call shifts vary due to certain circumstances, normally only come in for emergencies.
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $450 hourly. $400 night call and $3,600 24hour call.
