Job Responsibilities

The practice environment includes both outpatient and inpatient settings. Call coverage is scheduled at a ratio of 1:12 weeks. Residents from UC Irvine are responsible for providing after-hours preliminary readings and pager coverage, while the National Teleradiology Program (NTP) handles after-hours final readings for emergent and inpatient studies. A radiology attending physician will serve as backup on call. Our academic affiliations include the University of California, Irvine, where there are opportunities for academic appointments and resident teaching.

Qualifications

• Body fellowship training with expertise in body MRI.
• Board Eligible/ Board Certified with a current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any state or U.S. territory.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Working Hours

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-4:30pm or 4- day compressed tour opportunities.

Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess fellowship training in body MRI and demonstrate expertise in interpreting prostate and liver MRI. Additionally, proficiency in reading low-dose CT scans for our established Lung Cancer Screening Program is essential. Responsibilities will also encompass participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and the education of diagnostic radiology residents from the University of California, Irvine.
