We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to join our team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing diagnostic insights that guide patient care. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Image Interpretation: Analyze and interpret various types of medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
  • Diagnostic Reporting: Prepare comprehensive and accurate diagnostic reports, detailing findings and recommendations for further action.
  • Consultation: Provide expert consultations to referring physicians and healthcare providers, discussing diagnostic findings and potential treatment plans.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in radiology and medical imaging technology, and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other radiologists and medical professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards, including HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient confidentiality and data security.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Residency: Completion of a residency in radiology.
  • Licensure: A valid and unrestricted medical license to practice radiology.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-residency experience in a clinical radiology setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in the use of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and other relevant radiology software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex medical information.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and reliable diagnostic interpretations.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Subspecialty Training: Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty (e.g., neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, orthopedic radiology).
  • Licensure: Licensure in Texas.
