B/C Breast Imagers are needed in St. Louis

Large independent (100% hospital based) Radiology practice is actively recruiting 2 full time, B/C, fellowship trained Breast Imagers. They are a 80+ physician strong, independent Radiology group servicing several hospitals and multiple hospital owned imaging centers. This is a highly respected and successful private practice primarily based in St. Louis and have served the health system for over 35 years. This is a collegial, cohesive and dedicated Radiology group that manages their own workload to provide steady RVU production with a healthy work/life balance. The group works closely with the hospital’s Breast Surgeons, Rad Oncs and other physicians to coordinate excellent patient care. Will need MO, OK and KS licenses ultimately.

Breast Imager – St. Louis At this location, you will work about 80-90% Women’s Imaging with the balance in general. Duties include a mix of comprehensive Breast Imaging and interventional capabilities and general diagnostics. There may be some travel to Washington and Festus. Occasional evening shifts, weekends are rotated about 10 per year and 1-2 holidays per year. There are compensation days off for any weekends/holidays. There is a ½ day compensation pay for any evening worked. The vacation schedule allows for 12 weeks off and can be taken as 12 full weeks or broken into 8-9 full weeks and the rest spread throughout the year to create a schedule with mostly 4 day work week.

Breast Imager – South If you choose this location, you will be working in a Women’s Imaging center about 50-60% of your time. Occasional travel of less than 20 minutes to a freestanding Breast Imaging Center. You will need to be willing to work general diagnostic shifts including regular weekends, evenings and holidays. Income for this position is higher because there are fewer people and read as generalists with sub-specialization.

Receive a base pay (300k) with the ability to earn full shareholder salary IMMEDIATELY for the right candidate (estimate is 525-550k for St. Louis and higher for the South location). Benefits are work 100-125k whether it is individual or family level coverage, comprehensive benefit package (125k) including 401k match and profit sharing (58k), 10k CME, health, dental, disability, vision, LTC, malpractice and more. Partnership after 1 year.
