Location: A known for its picturesque surroundings and community atmosphere. The city has a charming downtown area with local shops, restaurants, and historic buildings. It hosts various community events and festivals throughout the year. Approximately 15 miles to Salem, the capital of the state!

Facility: Medical center offering a range of medical services, including emergency care, inpatient care, surgical services, and diagnostic imaging.

Opportunity:
  • Seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join their team. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team, providing essential breast imaging services and ensuring high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
  • Hospital-based Breast Center
  • 8 am - 5 pm schedule, Monday to Friday
  • Level 4 trauma designation
  • No ER volume, as this is a Breast Imager position
  • Powerscribe dictation into EPIC, EPIC Mammography reporting
  • 1 mammography room and 2 ultrasound rooms at Silverton; 1 mammography room and 1 ultrasound room at the Imaging Center (only screening exams performed at this facility)
  • 250 radiologists in the Seattle-based practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician
  • Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator
  • Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and helps schedule follow-up care for mammography patients
  • Teleradiology is not an option for this position- is used for diagnostic radiology exams, but not for breast imaging
  • Adult patient demographic.
