Shift Details: Remote or onsite radiologist
Shift Time: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Schedule: Mon – Friday
Work Details:
· Support staff: Will work solo
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 5-10 shifts available per month; can be a remote radiologist
· Patients per day: Expected to read 30-40 cross sectional and 40 plain films each day
· Patient population/age: Adult
· EMR: ImageCast
· Special procedures: None if remote; may be scheduled to perform procedures if onsite depending on what the radiologist is privileged to perform
· Skills required: We need the locum to be able to read the cross sectional exams. Some are better and more efficient with these types of exams and are expected to read 30-40 cross sectional and 40 plain films each day. Cross section reads refers to imaging where you view the body in cross-sections or axial slices, such as CT, MRI, PET. Digital reads from multiple angles. A body fellowship trained imager will certainly have this skill set. Body imaging
