We have opened a search for a third pulmonologist/critical care physician. Call will be 1:3 and we have an established hospitalist program. One of our pulmonologists is not accepting new patients, does almost zero hospital/in-patient work and has devoted his practice almost entirely to sleep. The accepted candidate will be an employee and will share an office/practice with our other employed pulmonologist who is a highly respected member of our medical community. ICU and vent experience is required. If you want sleep, you will have to earn it from the referring physicians. We have eight (8) sleep centers in the region. We are not looking for anyone who wants to concentrate on sleep in the short term. Long term sleep will depend on what you can earn in the way of referrals. We are offering a base salary of $400,000 with excellent RVU incentives, a $125,000 signing bonus, and a benefit package that 35 other employed physicians are very satisfied with.
