Pulmonologist Position

  • Office: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Inpatient Rounds: Weekends with call coverage
• On-Call Requirements:
  • Second call every other day during the week
  • First call every other weekend

Job Specifications:

• Start Date: May 1, 2025
• Duration: Full-time, ongoing (minimum 3-4 months)
• Facility Details:
  • Level 2 Trauma Center
  • 400-bed hospital
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days (with Ohio license and clean background)
• Supervision: Yes, 5 APCs in the practice
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Patient & Procedure Details:

• Setting: Adult inpatient (non-ICU) and ambulatory clinic
• Conditions Treated:
  • COPD, Lung Masses, Pulmonary Nodules, Asthma, Pneumonia, Sarcoidosis
  • Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, etc.
• Testing/Procedures Required:
  • Pulmonary Function Testing, Pulmonary Rehabilitation
  • Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Bronchoscopy
  • Bronchoscopic Intubations, Super D, and others

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Pulmonology (required), Sleep Medicine (preferred)
• Licensing: Ohio license preferred (willing to consider candidates needing licensure)
• Training: Pulmonary Fellowship required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
• Skills: Must perform sleep and pulmonary procedures including EBUS, Bronch, and/or Super D
