Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio is looking to bring on a full time locum Pulmonologist, starting May 1, 2025. Shifts will include Clinic and some inpatient pulmonary coverage. The need is full-time, ongoing (3-4 months minimum).
The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with 400 beds in the hospital. The pulmonologist will conduct admissions, the staffed hospitalist will admit pulmonary patients to the hospital.
Job Details:
- Supervision: Yes, there are 5 APC's in the practice
- EMR: Epic
- Setting: Adult inpatient non ICU and ambulatory setting; Provider MUST be willing to see new patients in the outpatient clinic.
- Required Evaluations & Treatments: COPD Treatment, Lung Masses, Pulmonary Nodules, Asthma, Interstitial Lung Disease, Pneumonia, Sarcoidosis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, some pulmonary hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Bronchiolitis, Pulmonary Vascular Disease
- Testing/Procedures Required: Pulmonary Function Testing, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Bronchoscopic Intubations, Bronchoscopy, Interstitial and Granulomatous Lung Disease
- Provider MUST be able to see sleep and pulmonary, help perform procedures EBUS, Bronch, and/or Super D
- Board Certified Pulmonology
