We are seeking an experienced Pulmonologist to join our medical team in Tacoma, WA on a locum tenens basis. The physician will provide expert care for patients with pulmonary conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung diseases, and other respiratory illnesses. Key Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient and inpatient care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary conditions.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and sleep studies.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with chronic lung diseases, including COPD, asthma, and pulmonary hypertension.
Review patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and provide diagnosis and management recommendations.
Collaborate with other specialists (e.g., critical care, cardiology, thoracic surgery) to provide comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families on managing pulmonary conditions, lifestyle changes, and adherence to prescribed therapies.
Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed, including responding to emergencies related to respiratory distress or other critical conditions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care plans, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Active WA License - REQUIRED
Pulmonology Residency/Fellowship - REQUIRED
Active BLS - REQUIRED
