DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with respiratory conditions in various locations in the state of Texas.

Job Description:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, and lung cancer.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopies, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including inhalers, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Interpret chest X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients on lung health and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pulmonology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Valid medical license in Texas State
  • Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions
  • Proficiency in performing pulmonary procedures
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
