**Interventional Pulmonologist Opening in Kansas City, MO**
- Located in Kansas City, MO
- Full time; Employed
- Seeking BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care
- Interventional Pulmonology fellowship must be in process or completed
- Completed or be in the process of completing an abdominal imaging or cross-sectional imaging fellowship
- The successful candidate would join a robust pulmonary and critical care department that includes an interventional bronchoscopy program with a state-of-the-art bronchoscopy suite, a multidisciplinary thoracic clinic, and a comprehensive lung cancer screening program
- Referral based practice that encompasses all aspects of interventional pulmonology including lung nodule evaluation, lung cancer screening, diagnosing and staging lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies, treating benign and malignant airway obstruction, bronchoscopic volume reduction for emphysema, and diagnosing and treating pleural diseases
- Procedures include EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, stent placement, endobronchial valve placement, indwelling pleural catheter placement, and medical thoracoscopy
- Duties will include clinical pulmonary and critical care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings & will participate in home call averaging 1 week out of 4
- Weekly participation in a high-volume, multidisciplinary thoracic clinic and tumor board; opportunity to participate in investigator initiated or industry sponsored clinical trials if interested
