**Exciting Pulmonology Opportunity near Winston-Salem**
- Located in High Point, NC - Winston-Salem 20m
- Full-time, permanent position

- Specializing in pulmonary medicine, treating lung diseases, sleep disorders, and providing critical care medicine.
**Services include:**
- Asthma
- Chronic bronchitis
- COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
- Emphysema
- Infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)
- Lung masses, nodules, and tumors
- Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Restrictive lung disease
**Highlights:**
- 100% outpatient care role with 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours.
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus on-call requirement.
- Strong and well-established community relationships with excellent administrative support.
- Required rotating coverage for pulmonary consults at Regional Hospital.
**What Youll Do:**
- Diagnose, treat, and care for patients with pulmonary conditions and sleep disorders.
- Provide critical care medicine.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team.
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, interpret diagnostic tests, and recommend treatment plans.
**Physician Requirements:**
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (M.D./D.O.).
- Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License (M.D./D.O.).
- Board certification in primary care or related field.
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing.
