**Exciting Pulmonology Opportunity near Winston-Salem** - Located in High Point, NC - Winston-Salem 20m - Full-time, permanent position **About Us:** - Team-oriented practice with supportive colleagues and well-trained clinical and clerical staff. - Comprehensive outpatient practice with a diverse patient population. - Specializing in pulmonary medicine, treating lung diseases, sleep disorders, and providing critical care medicine. **Services include:** - Asthma - Chronic bronchitis - COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) - Emphysema - Infections (pneumonia, bronchitis) - Lung masses, nodules, and tumors - Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) - Pulmonary hypertension - Restrictive lung disease **Highlights:** - 100% outpatient care role with 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours. - Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus on-call requirement. - Strong and well-established community relationships with excellent administrative support. - Required rotating coverage for pulmonary consults at Regional Hospital. **What Youll Do:** - Diagnose, treat, and care for patients with pulmonary conditions and sleep disorders. - Provide critical care medicine. - Work collaboratively with a supportive team. - Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, interpret diagnostic tests, and recommend treatment plans. **Physician Requirements:** - Graduation from an accredited medical school (M.D./D.O.). - Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution. - Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License (M.D./D.O.). - Board certification in primary care or related field. - Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). - Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing. **What We Have to Offer:** - CME Reimbursement: Up to $3,500 and 5 additional PTO days/year for Continuing Medical Education. - Work/Life Balance: Flexible working hours. - Generous PTO: Accrual starts at 25 days/year for vacations, sickness, holidays, and personal matters. - Relocation Assistance: $10,000 in relocation assistance, paid within the first 30 days of employment. - Career Growth & Stability: Ample opportunities for advancement and stability, supported by a consistently high patient volume. - A Rich Quality of Life: Vibrant lifestyle in North Carolinas Piedmont Triad region, with walking and biking trails, golf courses, arts communities, Southern cuisine, and craft breweries.
