Pulmonary/Critical Care Job Openings in Cookeville, TN A pulmonary/critical care physician is needed to join a robust 4-physician hospital employed practice. The outpatient clinic is attached to the hospital allowing for efficiency in patient care. Centrally located between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga with the Nashville International Airport within a one-hour drive This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment, with an outpatient clinic conveniently located within the hospital for enhanced patient management and efficiency. Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions. Conduct evaluations, diagnostics, and treatments for respiratory and critical care patients. Manage inpatient care, including ICU duties, with a call rotation of 1 in 5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Engage in outpatient clinic responsibilities to ensure continuity of care. Participate in educational initiatives for staff and community outreach programs. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital standards. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care. Valid medical license to practice in Tennessee. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a collaborative approach to medicine.
