Coverage Needs Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient/Call/Rounding/Ambulatory Office
- Schedule: Office Hours (Mon-Th 8am to 4pm, Fri 8am to 12pm) (In-patient rounding on the weekends w/ Call)
Candidate Requirements
- Client is considering candidates who still need to obtain OH licensure (Provider will need to obtain licensure prior to start)
- Minimum Board Status: Board Certified in Pulmonology (Certification in Sleep Medicine a plus)
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- APP Supervision Required (5 APC’s in the practice)
Job Details
- Call Schedule: Second call every other day during the week; first call every other weekend
- Call Ratio: Approximately 10 days per month
- Admissions handled by hospitalists
- Facility Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2 Trauma Center
- Number of beds in ICU: 18
- Number of Pulmonologists in Group: 1 (Provider will not work solo)
- Testing/Procedures Required::Pulmonary Function Testing, Pulmonary Rehab, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, Endobronchial Ultrasound, Bronchoscopy Intubation, Bronchoscopy, Interstitial and Granulomatous Lung Disease
- Required Evaluations & Treatments: COPD Treatment, Lung Masses, Pulmonary Nodules, Asthma, Interstitial Lung Disease, Asthma, Pneumonia, Sarcoidosis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Some Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Bornchiolitis, Pulmonary Vascular Disease
- Est. Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
- Travel accommodations covered by the facility
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $250/hr for regular hourly rate, $275/hr for callback, $275/shift for night call and $2400/shift for 24/hr call coverage.
