Our hospital offers critically injured patient’s immediate, life-saving care close to home, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week. Our multi-disciplinary trauma and critical care team is ready at a moment’s notice to care for the most severely injured patient.

  • Texas has 270 Trauma Centers, 16 Level I Trauma Centers and 17 Level II Trauma Centers that are designated as Major Trauma Centers in the State—Our Hospital is one of these 33 major trauma facilities.
  • Every three years, we are reviewed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) to ensure we are providing all the needed resources, delivering the optimal patient care and ensuring the best quality outcomes for patients.
  • Our Level II designation reinforces our dedication to excellence, education, injury prevention, and research for the community.

Our dedicated trauma surgical team is comprised of highly knowledgeable, skilled and experienced surgeons that work together to provide superior care. Our comprehensive Trauma Program uses a multidisciplinary team approach to care for injured adults. Specially trained physicians, nurses, therapists, technicians, chaplains and social workers collaborate in the provision of high-quality patient care from the time of the injury through the rehabilitation process.
