Location: Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, FL
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with on-call coverage from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Part-time, 7 shifts per month

Overview:
Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will work on a part-time basis, providing essential care in our ICU during scheduled 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with on-call duties for follow-up care during the overnight shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The physician will play a vital role in delivering high-quality critical care and must be willing to supervise and guide mid-level providers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care for ICU patients, including pulmonary management and life-saving interventions.
• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and oversee ICU protocols.
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with mid-level providers (NPs/PAs) as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Respond to emergent patient needs and provide consultative services as necessary.
• Participate in patient rounds, documenting care plans and ensuring continuity of care.
• Engage in on-call coverage for after-hours support, including managing critical incidents and providing guidance to staff.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/Board-eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care.
• Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in a Pulmonary and Critical Care setting.
• Experience supervising mid-level providers is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex ICU cases.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
