Healthcare United is seeking a fellowship-trained Pulmonary Critical Care Specialist to join our well-established Pulmonary Division near New Bedford, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to innovative projects, and practice in a dynamic environment with advanced technology and facilities.



Position Highlights

As a Pulmonary Critical Care Specialist, you will:

  • Join a team of 7 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers delivering inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Provide exclusive Intensivist and Pulmonary consultant services at the hospital.
  • Perform procedures such as PFTs, bronchoscopy, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy.
  • Participate in specialized programs, including:
    • COPD/Dyspnea Clinics.
    • Lung Cancer Screening Program.
    • Lung Nodule Program.
  • Collaborate with a thoracic surgeon on-site in the office.

Hospital Facilities:

  • 140-bed hospital, including a 12-bed Med-Surg ICU with overnight eICU coverage.
  • Modern patient pavilion, renovated Operating Rooms, and Emergency Department.

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to team-based, patient-centered care.
  • Interest in contributing to specialized programs and clinical innovation.
