Facility in Sioux City, IA seeking Critical Care locums coverage

Rates: $320/hr

Position Overview

• Start Date:
  As soon as credentialed (~30-45 days)

• Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (in-house coverage)

  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (off-site call)

  • One block of shifts per month

Key Details

• Responsibilities:

  • Provide ICU coverage for critically ill patients.

  • Supervise APPs (minimal oversight required as they practice independently).

• Required Skills:

  • Must be Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care.

  • ACLS, DEA, CSR certifications required.

  • COVID-19 vaccination required.

• Patient Volume:

  • Average ICU Patients per Day: 13

  • ICU Beds: 12

• EMR System:

  • Cerner

Requirements

• Licensure:

  • Active Iowa License (IA) required.

  • IMLC or non-licensed candidates will not be accepted.

• Certifications:

  • ACLS, DEA, and CSR certifications are mandatory.

• Additional Requirements:

  • Clean malpractice and background history preferred.

  • COVID-19 vaccination status
