Facility in Sioux City, IA seeking Critical Care locums coverage

Rates: $300/hr

Position Overview:

Facility is seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonary Critical Care physician for locum coverage. The physician will cover a block of dates each month, primarily focusing on ICU patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-house coverage from 7a-7p and off-site call coverage from 7p-7a.

• Manage an average of 13 ICU patients per day.

• Supervise APPs (minimal oversight required).

• Deliver high-quality care within a 12-bed ICU.

• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation.

• Dates:

  • November 14 @ 0700 - November 25 @ 0700

  • December 14 @ 0700 - January 1 @ 0700

• Shifts:

  • In-house: 7a-7p

  • Off-site call: 7p-7a

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care (REQUIRED)

• Active Iowa License (REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC or non-licensed candidates)

• ACLS, DEA, CSR Certifications (REQUIRED)

• COVID-19 Vaccination (REQUIRED)

• Must be available to cover the specific shifts listed (REQUIRED)
