We are looking for a full time Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join a growing network in the New York, metropolitan area.
Responsibilities:
- 70% Outpatient / 30% Inpatient split
- Outpatient duties include chest clinic, tele visits, procedure efficacy and evaluations as well as PFT interpretation.
- Inpatient duties include ICU, progressive care unit, pulmonary consults and procedures.
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations related to respiratory symptoms
- Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, chronic cough, chest pain, and other respiratory issues
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified/Board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
- Valid New York State License
- DEA and Medicaid number
- Familiarity with thoracentesis, pigtail catheters, indwelling pleural catheters, bronchoscopies, EBUS, and intubations preferred
