Job Description
Large Physician-led hospital system is seeking a Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician who is BE/BC in Critical Care Medicine and in Pulmonary Disease Medicine or in final year of such program leading to certification for work in a beautiful Missouri community to provide direct care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit environment: including resuscitation, advanced cardiac and trauma life support, prescription of therapeutic agents, invasive and non-invasive monitoring systems, airway maintenance, mechanical ventilation, and bronchoscopy. Provide direct care to patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. Discuss patient and management of care with other physicians as needed. Responsible for monitoring patients’ conditions and progress, determining and evaluating appropriate treatments, and explaining procedures and discussing test results and treatment plans with patients.
Must have M.D., D.O. or foreign degree equivalent. Must have or be eligible for Missouri medical license and must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine and in Pulmonary Disease Medicine, or be in final year of such program leading to certification.
