You will manage psychiatric programs in Oregon, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Your role includes evaluating and assessing new patients at our partner locations. The ideal candidate will play a central role in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, creating care plans, and working closely with nursing staff, families, and other healthcare teams.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Monitor medication effectiveness, manage side effects, and adjust prescriptions as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and diagnoses.
Review and supervise medical documentation created by PMHNPs in Texas.
Collaborate with mental health professionals, including therapists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
Attend treatment meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices in psychiatry.

Qualifications

Completed psychiatry residency with two years of post-residency experience.
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
Active Wyoming MD license or willingness to obtain.
Licensed to prescribe controlled substances.
A valid driver’s license may be required.
