Position Title: Psychiatry Locum – Hospital Rounding & Call
Location: Richmond, Indiana

Job Details:

  • Patient Population: 100% Adult Psychiatry

  • Average Patients per Day:

    • Hospital Clinic: 10 beds
    • Consults: 5 per day
  • Schedule:

    • Monday to Sunday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (8-hour shift)

    • Provider will be responsible for hospital psychiatry rounding, consults on the med/surg floor, and triaging the ED.

    • Night Call:

      • 1 day between Monday to Thursday (4:00 PM - 8:00 AM), provider will be on Night Call.
      • Friday to Sunday Night Call (4:00 PM - 8:00 AM).
  • Schedule Cycle:

    • The locum position requires a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.
    • This is a biweekly requirement, with night call rotation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Licensure: Active Indiana State License or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
  • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Experience: No minimum years of experience required.
  • Vaccinations:
    • Flu vaccination: Required or need a medical/religious exemption.
    • Covid vaccination: Required or need a medical/religious exemption.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA issued.
