  • Setting: government facility serving underserved patient population in Port Isabel, TX
  • Duties:
    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Provide psychotherapy and medication management
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient Care
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
    • All patients ages 18 and up
  • Schedule: PART TIME - 20 hours per week
Required:
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a school in the US or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school established by NCFMEA or ECFMG
  • Completion of 4 years of medical specialty training leading to board eligibility or certification in psychiatry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed practicing psychiatrist
  • Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Active TX license
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
