Part-time (20-24 hours per week) Child Psychiatrist needed in beautiful & historic Philadelphia!! Upwards of $150 per hour! Seeking to fill position immediately!!
1* Psychiatric Evaluations, Assessments and Discharge Summaries
2* Provide Individual and Family or Collateral Psychotherapy
3* Score Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales
4* Review and approve client treatment plans
5* Provide psychiatric consultations as member of treatment team
6* Participation in treatment team meetings
7* Participate in facility sponsored research projects
8* Medication management
9* Follow-up recommendations on evaluations for facility clients
10* Consultation regarding diagnostic changes
11* Calling parents when diagnosis changes
12* Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
13* Have an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy in the U.S. or have a valid M.D. from a foreign school of medicine and have passed the ECFMG exam
14* Completed an internship from an accredited graduate medical education program recognized by the AMA (LCME) or AOA
15* Have a valid and current PA medical license for the practice of psychiatry
16* Completed a psychiatric residency in an accredited residency program and be board certified or eligible in Child Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
17* Have a valid and current DEA certificate number
18* Possess a minimum of professional liability coverage of $1,000,000/occurrence and $2,000,000/aggregate; or $200,000/occurrence and $600,000 aggregate and participate in the PA Catastrophic Fund
19* Act 33 clearance
