A beautiful hospital located in Long Island is actively seeking a compassionate and patient-oriented Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a promising opportunity on their staff within the inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will:

• Be responsible for adolescent eating disorder patients with support from an additional NP.
• Provide clinical diagnostic assessments and medication management
• Conduct individual psychotherapy
• Handle crisis intervention
• Provide consultation to medical providers
• Participate in clinical team meetings
• Provide in-service training
• Optional Academic title responsibilities available

Qualifications:

• M.D. / D.O.
• Board Eligible / Certified
• Licensed in New York

Desired Skills:

• Previous Experience in C/A psychiatry
