A hospital in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Teaching Psychiatrist for a promising opportunity with their Inpatient Department in Staten Island.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: 100% Inpatient
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
The Teaching Psychiatrist will:
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in a clinical setting
- Work closely with faculty to develop and implement educational programs and curricula
- Participate in patient care and treatment planning
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles
- Attend and present at conferences and professional meetings
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible or Certified in Psychiatry
