Our client is a dedicated provider of mental health services, specializing in care for children and adolescents, including those with developmental disabilities. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents, with a focus on those who may have developmental disabilities. The position requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, with no weekend work required, making it an ideal role for those seeking work-life balance!
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents, with a particular focus on those with developmental disabilities.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Telepsychiatry: Provide all services via telehealth, ensuring accessible and convenient care for patients and their families.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Family Support: Offer guidance and support to families, helping them understand and manage their child’s condition and treatment plan.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with a specialization in Psychiatry.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license in the state(s) where you will be providing services.
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with developmental disabilities, is preferred.
- Excellent communication and telehealth skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families in a virtual environment.
Please note- The annual base salary range is $140/hr to $175/hr. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
