Our client is a dedicated provider of mental health services, specializing in care for children and adolescents, including those with developmental disabilities. Their innovative approach includes providing high-quality care in a flexible and supportive remote work environment.

This fully remote position offers the opportunity to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents, with a focus on those who may have developmental disabilities. The position requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, with no weekend work required, making it an ideal role for those seeking work-life balance!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents, with a particular focus on those with developmental disabilities.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Telepsychiatry: Provide all services via telehealth, ensuring accessible and convenient care for patients and their families.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Family Support: Offer guidance and support to families, helping them understand and manage their child’s condition and treatment plan.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with a specialization in Psychiatry.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Valid medical license in the state(s) where you will be providing services.
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with developmental disabilities, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and telehealth skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families in a virtual environment.

Please note- The annual base salary range is $140/hr to $175/hr. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
