Job Description
Child Psychiatrist opportunity in a coastal town north of Boston, Massachusetts, to provide direct patient care and professional support to medical and clinical staff along with the management of complex psychiatric patients in a community mental health clinic setting.
About the Position:
- 100% Outpatient - Full time
- Treatment of urgent and ongoing behavioral health challenges and substance use disorder (SUD) for youths, adults, and their families.
- Telehealth and flexible service location options
- Provides clinical case conference consultations to mobile crisis intervention teams
- Complete comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, and psychopharmacological treatment.
- Interdisciplinary team
- Develops individualized care plans involving evidence-based psychotherapeutic and/or medication treatments
- Provide ongoing, periodic supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Teaching experience is highly desirable
