Opportunity for a Child Psychiatrist to provide the management of complex psychiatric patients in a community mental health clinic setting north of Boston.
About the Position:
- Our Community Behavioral Health Center serves as an entry point for the treatment of urgent and ongoing behavioral health challenges and substance use disorder (SUD) for youths, adults, and their families.
- We also offer telehealth and flexible service location options
- Provide direct outpatient psychiatric services
- Complete comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, and psychopharmacological treatment.
- Interdisciplinary team
- Conduct team clinical rounds critical patient risk review, teaching of clinical interns and psychiatric residents, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide ongoing, periodic supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Coverage is typically managed via telephone; rare in-person coverage may be required. Alternative or weekend schedule options are available for onsite medical coverage.
