Locums Child/Adolescent Psychiatry - GA
*Description of need:
Psychiatrist for locums coverage for Child and Adolescent services both inpatient and ambulatory for 3-5 months, starting as soon as credentialed.
*Coverage Description:
Full-time, but will consider 2-3 providers job share
Reason for coverage: Provider departure
Schedule/hours: M-F Clinic 8am-Noon; Inpatient rounding 1pm-5pm
Call schedule: 1:2 weekday 1:3 weekend
Call back: 99% TC only call back
Open to a flexible schedule

EMR/Documentation: Cerner
Support staff: Other MDs, NP, RN, CM, CMA, Office Staff
Board certification required, with active GA license
Other Certifications required: BLS
Emergency privileges available while credentialing
*Job Specific Details:
Patients per day: Outpatient 8-12, Inpatient 6-10
Number of inpatient admissions/discharges per day: 16 peds; 24 adult Admits/DC 3-5
Time allotted for new outpatient evaluations: 50 minutes
Time allotted for follow ups: 30 minutes
Amount of call required: 1:2 M-F Peds; Weekend 1:3 Peds -Option for additional adult call
Providers must do the History and physicals
Additional responsibilities: tele, h&p, ER support level of care determination call
Safety/security measures: All staff handle with trained, 24/7 security, PPE readily available and CDC infection control guidelines in place, testing of all BH IP
